When the Manchester Academy Running Squad of British girl competition runners competes in the 26th Appalachian Cross Trail Marathon, they take a wrong turn and get lost on the 12th mile. Looking for help, the team literally runs into two quirky characters who bring them back to their family home for safety, in the Backwoods Ecological Village Commune.
